I can’t find availability for my preferred date and time. Can you help?

If no availability is shown for your desired date and time, it means we’re fully booked. Please try selecting a different time or date.

Can I add more guests to my reservation?

Yes, you can adjust your reservation through the confirmation email you received from us. There’s a “Change” button that allows you to modify your booking. If the system doesn’t allow it, it means we’re fully booked at that time. Please try selecting a different time or day.

How do I book for a group of more than 12 people?

For groups larger than 12, please email us at office@sil.wien, and we’ll help arrange your booking.

What happens if I’m late for my reservation?

We have high demand for tables, so we can only hold your reservation for 20 minutes. Please try to arrive on time.

Can I request a specific table when I reserve?

You can mention your preferred table when booking, but we can’t guarantee it, especially on weekends and holidays.

Can I reserve for more than 2 hours?

You can leave a note when making your reservation, but we can’t guarantee it as our general policy is a 2-hour limit due to high demand.

I can’t make it to my reservation. What should I do?

If you can’t make it, please cancel your reservation through the confirmation email you received from us. There’s a "Cancel" button in the email that allows you to easily cancel your booking so we can offer the table to other guests.

Do you have a phone number for reservations?

In terms of reservations you can only reach us through our website, as all reservations are made via our booking system.

How long in advance should I make a reservation?

We recommend making a reservation as early as possible, especially for weekends and holidays, to ensure we can accommodate your preferred time.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes, we do. However, on weekends and holidays, we’re usually fully booked, so we can’t guarantee a table without a reservation.

You can always double-check with your server or the kitchen. We're always happy to help and accommodate your needs!

Do you offer gluten-free options?

Yes, we have several gluten-free options available. Please inform your server, and they’ll guide you through the menu.

Do you offer vegan or vegetarian options?

Yes, we have a variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes. Please ask our staff for recommendations.

What type of cuisine do you serve?

We offer international cuisine, preparing dishes from various corners of the world, but with our own unique twist.

Is it possible to get a takeout menu?

Yes, of course! Most of our menu items are available for takeout, but please double-check with our server to confirm. Just keep in mind that on weekends and holidays, the wait time can be up to 30 minutes.

Can I bring a stroller?

Of course! Just let us know when you book that you’ll have a stroller, and we’ll make sure you have enough space. We also have high chairs available.

Do you have a kids’ menu?

We have no specific kids’ menu, but we’re happy to prepare something simple for your child if needed. Please double-check with your server for options.

Do you have a changing table?

Yes, we do! It’s located in the last stall in the restroom. You’ll also find baby hygiene products there.

Do you have a playroom or other facilities for children?

We offer toys and coloring books for our little guests. Just ask our waiter, and they’ll be happy to provide them!

Can I bring my pet with me?

Yes, we're a dog-friendly place! To make your furry friends feel extra special, we even offer a special dog menu. When making a reservation, please let us know you'll be bringing your dog so we can provide you with a suitable table, as we may have many guests with pets at the same time.

I’m celebrating a special occasion. Can you do something extra?

For special occasions, we’re happy to offer a complimentary drink or dessert. While we don't provide table decorations, you’re welcome to bring your own and set them up yourself.

Can I bring my own birthday cake or drinks?

Bringing outside food or drinks isn’t part of our usual policy, but we can make an exception for birthday cakes. Please note this in your reservation and wait for our confirmation. A service fee of €3.50 per guest will apply.

I’d like to host a private event. Who should I contact?

For private events, please reach out to us at office@sil.wien, and we’ll assist with the planning.

Can I book the entire restaurant for a private event?

Yes, it’s possible to reserve the entire restaurant for private events. For more information, please contact us at office@sil.wien.

I have a voucher. Can I use it anytime?

Please double-check the conditions on your voucher in advance, as some may have time restrictions. When making your reservation, be sure to mention that you’ll be bringing a voucher with you so we can apply it accordingly.

Do you offer gift cards?

Yes, we offer gift cards! They can be purchased at the restaurant or on our website. Feel free to ask our staff for more information.

Is there parking available nearby?

Yes, there are public parking options close by. If you're driving, we recommend allowing some extra time to find a spot. The nearest garages are Garage Robert-Stolz-Platz and CONTIPARK Tiefgarage Am MuseumsQuartier.

Is your place laptop-friendly?

Yes, it is! You’re welcome to work on your laptop, but please note that this is only allowed on weekdays. We also have plenty of power outlets and unlimited Wi-Fi for your convenience.
